Our plans to bring awareness to young and old requires equipment, equipment maintenance, gas and more. See below for our immediate and long term needs.
These are items that we need on a continuing basis. Any help keeping this going will be greatly appreciated. Dollar amounts here are suggested. Really any donation or ongoing subscription will help. JUMP TO THE TOP OF THIS PAGE TO DONATE or SUBSCRIBE
We will drive about 100 miles to create 1 mining report. In order to take people out to a claim, we drive either hauling, or carrying equipement, including water, which (at 8lbs per gallon of ADDED weight) really burns up the fuel. Any single amount PAYPAL, VENMO, ZELLE or a small ongoing subscription on PATREON will help.
This is a food stable that we go through by the pounds when we are in the desert. It's lightweigh so we can carry a lot, and it doesn't go bad in the heat. That helps a lot when our cooler loses it's cool!
Our coolers will NOT sustain ice for longer than a few hours. We've been struggling not losing food during the hot summer. This is pricey, BUT ANY little donation will help, through PAYPAL, VENMO or ZETTLE, or a small ongoing subscription to our channel through PATREON will help!
Scoops wear down constantly and tend to float away . . .we're replacing these constantly!
This is a commodity we go through FAST. Even prospecting and mining at night, and drinking about 2 gallons of fluids (water and electrolytes), we lose 5 to 10 lbs in water weight!
When we take people OUT who are unfamiliar with desert conditions, we also bring extra water as they invariably don't bring enough. Any single amount through PAYPAL, VENMO, ZELLE, or a small ongoing subscription on PATREON will help.
Oil changes, filter changes, drive train maintenance, shocks and struts, tires . . .all this adds up to nearly $6,000+ in repairs every year.
Prospecting and working material RIPS through gloves. We can't use TOO thick gloves because you can't feel the material you're working with, so that makes for a short life for our gloves. Typically, we change out gloves on every 3rd trip.
Straps, come-alongs, basic tools (screwdrivers, wrenchs, various sizes) carabiners of various strengths, D-Links of various stregnths, Auger and auger bits.
We burn through these tools as well, either wearing them down or accidently bending them trying to pull out a juicy nuggie.
Building projects in the works to bring more awareness responsible and FUN prospecting and mining. This includes teaching the young and old future prospectors! JUMP TO THE TOP OF THE PAGE TO SUBSCRIBE OR DONATE.
